CNC Customization for electrical and electronics enclosures
CNC is the cutting process that generates desired parts by moving the cutting tool on the part at high-speed rotation in milling machines provided by a computer-controlled cutting route. For many years, we have been processing our products in CNC machines according to the wishes of our customers. We carefully, and consciously process products made of plastic, aluminum extrusion, sheet metal, and aluminum casting.
Thanks to our completely computer-controlled industrial CNC machines and many years of experience, we offer precise and clean work in which you can place components such as circuits, terminals, LCD screens, keypads, etc. in our enclosures.

Technical information of CNC Customization
Altınkaya offers a precise, clean, and millimetrically CNC Cutting service in standard enclosures which you can place the components such as circuit, terminal, LCD screen, keypad, etc. that you will use in your project,

Corner Radius
When a rotating tool is used, the corners of the machining shapes are rounded in proportion to the tool length. Sharper corners are possible using a smaller tool, but this increases our machining time and cost.

Material | Standard Dia | Minimum Dia |
---|---|---|
Plastic | 1.00 mm | 0.75 mm |
Transparent Panel |
1.25 mm | 0.75 mm |
Aluminium | 1.25 mm | 0.75 mm |
Sheet Metal | 1.25 mm | 0.75 mm |

D-SUB Connector slot
In order to machine the connector holes, we need the drawing of the product
Ventilation Slot
With the request, ventilation slots can be opened in needed points
Countersunk
The countersinking procedure can be done to refrain the screws exuded from the surface
Special Thickness
All or part of the thickness can be cut for special connectors
Corner Radius
Countersinking is cutting the top of the screw hole at an angle so that the head of a screw fits on the mounting surface without protruding. If the countersink thickness of the screw is greater than the thickness of the material to be machined, the excess can be left on the upper or lower surface.

Threading
When mounting components such as connectors and cable glands in enclosures we can also thread the enclosure surface with special tools instead of drilling straight holes and using nuts. You can find the thread lengths and pitches we cut in accordance with PG and Metric standards in the table.

Fastening nuts, screws, and elevation parts are components that enable all kinds of device and card assembly to be made more robust and durable. Specially produced fastening nuts, screws, and standoffs are pressed into the holes previously drilled on soft metal with a special press with high pressure.
- • For aluminum and metal surfaces
- • Robust and durable
- • Threaded mounting feet at desired height
- • Precision work with parallel compression method
- • M3, M4, M5 and M6, M8 sizes
- • High torque resistance
- • Does not require any extra holes or threads
- • Reasonable cost and clean work
- • Screw, Nut, open and closed mounting feet

You may send us instructions about CNC cutting in different ways.
You can send processes you want by drawing manually or on the computer on technical pictures of PDF or DXF format is found on our website: Each of our enclosures has its PDF and DXF drawings on our website. You can send us the revised drawings based on your project requirements.
You can submit us hand-drawn images or files to have a program create a drawing for you. We'll send you a copy of the sketch as well as a sample of the enclosure to trial.
You can send us a sample of your product if you don't have any technical drawings. After machining according to samples, necessary drawings will be sent.
During the manufacturing phase, components such as the circuit, connection, terminal block, and LCD display will be mounted in the box with the sample box. If you deliver the components to us with their counterparts, we will examine the assembly of the components during the initial production. According to the samples, we can adjust the machining dimensions and tolerances.
CNC Reference Codes
We use a code to save earlier work, such as CNC cutting and visible printing, in our computer systems. If our customers require the same service again, we encourage they use these codes to expedite the process.
There are a few things to think about when it comes to technical drawings for CNC cutting. When dimensioning the technical drawing, the center point will be identified first, followed by the measurement values or measurements that should be taken from spots on the box that can be measured with a caliper. The sample drawings below can be used.
Please avoid offering specific tolerances for plastics as they are elastic materials, despite the high sensitivity of CNC machines. Use the following to find general tolerances. If you require unique custom tolerances or bespoke assembly parts, please contact our specialists.
